Yaki Ya! was named North London Restaurant of the Year at the Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards. For a London-born halal Japanese brand, this was a big moment. Our mission has always been simple: make bold Japanese food accessible to halal-conscious diners without compromising on flavour, choice, or experience. This award recognised what our guests already knew — halal Japanese food can stand proudly alongside some of the UK’s best-loved restaurant concepts.

SUSTAINABILITY & CLIMATE IMPACT FINALIST

Great food should come with better choices. Yaki Ya! was recognised as an Uber Eats Sustainability & Climate Impact Finalist for the steps we have taken to reduce the impact of takeaway and delivery. We introduced plant-based, sweetcorn-based takeaway packaging as part of our move away from conventional packaging where practical. For us, the details matter — from the food inside the box to the box itself.
